Membership Details & Criteria
ASSOCIATE/ALLIED MEMBERS
There will only be 'Associate/Allied Membership' to the International Wado Federation. Associate Members are self-governing 'autonomous' members and will be considered 'Associate Members' to the International Wado Federation. The International Wado Federation will have no control over Associate Members as they will have their own Constitution/Rules & Regulations for self-governance within their own Group/Association.
Upon application the Chairman/Chief Instructor must supply the following requirements.
1. Copies of Chief Instructor's Recognised Wado Grade Certificates/Licence.
2. Brief History of Association.
3. Club List.
4. Proof of National Insurance (UK only).
5. Enhanced CRB of Chief Instructor (UK only).
6. 1st Aid Certificate (UK only).
7. IWF Licence Application Form & Remittance (form & remittance will be returned if affiliation application is rejected).
Only established Wado Groups and Associations will be accepted into membership (from a credible Wado lineage).
The International Wado Federation does not accept applications, or Chief Instructor grade history, from all-styles sources.
Additional conditions for membership: The International Wado Federation accepts organisations that have a democratic structure and/or a board of directors that are freely elected. All members must accept these rules and conditions of the IWF when applying for membership.
In respect to violation of Law/s, or Child Protection issues, the relevant Associate Member Group will no longer be considered part of the International Wado Federation; effective immediately upon awareness of such knowledge by the Committee of the International Wado Federation.
